I am so glad you are here! I’m Saffron Morriz, just a gal whose job is also her passion. I love what I do, but besides that - I love to travel, go on hikes with my border collie, sip away at some coffee at a local coffee shop, and shred the hills with my snowboard. Nova Scotia-based, but I love traveling all over and making new friends - so fly me out!
I’ve been a professional wedding photographer for 4 years and have had the opportunity to create so many ever lasting memories for some incredible people. I firmly believe each and every moment can be captured and relived to tell a story that was once and always will be.
It's so important to document our lives.
Photographs become a time capsule, preserving not just faces and places but the emotions, atmospheres, and details that shape our memories. They provide a window into our personal narratives, offering a reflection of who we are, where we come from, and the evolving chapters of our lives. Beyond personal significance, the act of documenting life through photography contributes to a collective visual history, allowing societies to trace their cultural evolution. do you deliver every photo you shoot?
No not all of them. I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions, and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. HOWEVER, unlike most photographers, I do deliver all the "best images" from your session so you can pick which ones you want depending on package size!
where would the session take place?
It can be anywhere! I love to travel! I have tons of different locations with a variety of different themes and vibes in the local area and further.

how far in advance should I book?
For sessions, I would recommend booking 1-3 months in advance to ensure your preferred date! It really all depends on the season, summer and fall being the busiest!
For weddings, along with your venue, your photographer should be the second thing you book! 16-18 months is recommended!
But "we are awkward in photos..."
You don't even know how many times I have heard this! You are not to worry, I offer full guidance throughout my sessions so you can be your most natural selves!
what is your turnaround time?
For sessions, my turnaround time is 7-14 days. For weddings, 6-8 weeks.

Documentary photography is a captivating genre that seeks to capture the genuine, unscripted moments that unfold between individuals deeply in love. Through every photography session, I have prepared many prompts and activities to achieve the most natural and authentic images possible. Most of the time you won't be looking at the camera, only having fun creating memories with your partner or family.
